Welcome to TYC - Your Conscious Self ("Techandcare", "the Application", "we"). By downloading, installing or using our application, you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Application, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 16 years old
  • You have the legal capacity to accept these terms
  • You agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy

2. Description of Service

Techandcare is a personal wellness application that offers:

  • Nutritional logging and analysis using artificial intelligence
  • Body composition estimation based on photographs
  • Physical activity tracking
  • Mental wellness tools (mood logging, breathing exercises)
  • Conversational virtual companion

3. User Account

3.1 Registration

To use the Application, you need to create an account by providing accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

3.2 Security

You must notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized use of your account. We are not responsible for losses arising from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

By using the Application, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and accurate information
  • Use the Application only for personal, non-commercial purposes
  • Not attempt to access systems or data of other users
  • Not upload illegal, offensive content or content that violates third-party rights
  • Not use the Application for fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Not attempt to modify, decompile or reverse engineer the Application

5. Important Service Limitations

5.1 Not medical advice

IMPORTANT: Techandcare is NOT a medical device and does NOT provide diagnoses or medical advice. Information provided by the Application, including:

  • Body composition estimates
  • Nutritional analysis of meals
  • Calorie and macronutrient calculations
  • Virtual companion recommendations

Are approximations based on artificial intelligence and should be used only as general reference. Always consult with health professionals (doctors, nutritionists, psychologists) for decisions related to your health.

5.2 AI Accuracy

Artificial intelligence models have inherent limitations. Estimates may vary and we do not guarantee absolute accuracy. Do not make medical or health decisions based solely on data from the Application.

5.3 Mental Health

The virtual companion is NOT a substitute for professional psychological or psychiatric care. If you experience thoughts of self-harm, severe emotional crises or any mental health emergency, seek professional help immediately.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our property

All intellectual property rights of the Application (code, design, trademarks, content) belong to Techandcare. You are not granted any rights to these beyond personal use of the Application.

6.2 Your content

You retain rights to the content you upload (photos, texts). By uploading it, you grant us a limited license to process it and provide you with services.

7. Privacy

The use of your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Application available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may:

  • Perform scheduled or emergency maintenance
  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Suspend or terminate the service with prior notice

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee that the Application will meet your expectations or specific requirements
  • We are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for decisions you make based on information from the Application
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the last 12 months

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Techandcare from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your use of the Application or violation of these Terms.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication in the Application. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we will notify you with reasonable advance notice.

12. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time from the Application. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You use the Application fraudulently or abusively
  • Required by law

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of the corresponding jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
